Nigeria will build 30 mw solar power plant


Nigeria is reportedly to build a 30-megawatt solar power plant in kaduna state under a deal with DLO energy group.Development of the 30-megawatt solar photovoltaic power station is expected to begin next year and will generate enough electricity to power homes, including customers of major local utility suppliers.

Nigeria will build 30 mw solar power plant.The energy generated is expected to be sold to Kaduna power supply, a local company that distributes electricity.The new contract complements the portfolio of South African companies, which have invested heavily in the continent.In addition to Nigeria, it is preparing to provide a total of 300 megawatts of power in several states.

The founder of DLO energy said, "we are pleased to work with our partners and the government of kaduna state on this project.This is a great opportunity to provide electricity to kaduna.The deal is an example of an African solution to Africa's problems and, more importantly, a real opportunity for cooperation between South Africa and Nigeria.
